Prajnaparamita Hrdaya Sutra
觀自在菩薩
GUAN TZU ZAI PU SA
When the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara
行 深 般 若 波 羅 蜜 多 時，
XING SHEN BO RE BO LUO MI DUO SHI
was coursing in the deep Prajnaparamita,
照 見 五 蘊 皆 空，度 一 切 若 厄。
ZHAO JIAN WU YUN JIE KONG, DU YI QIE KU E
he perceived that all five skandhas are empty, thereby transcending all sufferings.
舍利 子：色 不 異 空，空 不 異 色，
SHE LI ZI, SE BU YI KONG, KONG BU YI SE
Sariputra, form is not other than emptiness and emptiness not other than form.
色即 是 空，空 即 是 色；
SE JI SHI KONG, KONG JI SHI SE
Form is precisely emptiness and emptiness precisely form.
受 想 行 識 亦 復 如 是，
SHOU XIANG XING SHI, YI FU RU SHI
So also are sensation, perception, volition, and consciousness.
舍利 子：是 諸 法 空 相
SHE LI ZI, SHI ZHU FA KONG XIANG
Sariputra, this emptiness of all dharmas
不生 不 滅，
BU SHENG BU MIE
is not born, not destroyed,
不垢 不 淨，不 增 不 減，
BU GOU BU JING, BU ZENG BU JIAN
not impure, not pure, does not increase or decrease.
是故 空 中 無 色
SHI GU KONG ZHONG WU SE
In emptiness there is no form,
無受 想 行 識，
WU SHOU XIANG XING SHI
and no sensation, perception, volition or consciousness;
無眼 耳 鼻 舌 身 意，
WU YAN ER BI SHE SHEN YI
no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind;
無色 聲 香 味 觸 法，
WU SE SHENG XIANG WEI CHU FA
no sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, thought;
無眼 界 乃 至 無 意 識 界，
WU YAN JIE, NAI ZHI WU YI SHI JIE
there is no realm of the eye all the way up to no realm of mental cognition.
無無 明，亦 無 無 明 盡；
WU WU MING, YI WU WU MING JIN,
There is no ignorance and there is no ending of ignorance
乃至 無 老 死，亦 無 老 死 盡。
NAI ZHI WU LAO SI, YI WU LAO SI JIN
through to no aging and death and no ending of aging and death.
無苦 集 滅 道，
WU KU JI MIE DAO
There is no suffering, no cause of suffering, no cessation of suffering, and no path.
無智 亦 無 得。以 無 所 得 故，菩 提 薩 埵
WU ZHI YI WU DE. YI WU SUO DE GU, PU TI SA DUO,
There is no wisdom or any attainment. With nothing to attain, Bodhisattvas
依般 若 波 羅 蜜 多 故，心 無 罣 礙；
YI BO RE BO LUO MI DUO GU
relying on Prajnaparamita have no obstructions in their minds.
無罣 礙 故，無 有 恐 怖，
XIN WU GUA AI, WU GUA AI GU. WU YOU KONG BU
Having no obstructions, there is no fear
遠離 顛 倒 夢 想，究 竟 涅 槃。
YUAN LI DIAN DAO MENG XIANG. JIU JING NIE PAN
and departing far from confusion and imaginings, they reach Ultimate Nirvana.
三世 諸 佛 依 般 若 波 羅 蜜 多 故，
SAN SHI ZHU FO. YI BO RE BO LUO MI DUO GU
All past, present and future Buddhas, relying on Prajnaparamita,
得阿 耨 多 羅 三 藐 三 菩 提。
DE O NOU DUO LUO SAN MIAO SAN PU TI
attain Anuttara-Samyak-Sambodhi.
故知 般 若 波 羅 蜜 多 是 大 神 咒；
GU ZHI BO RE BO LUO MI DUO, SHI DA SHEN ZHOU
Therefore, know that Prajnaparamita is the great mantra of power,
是大 明 咒，是 無 上 咒；
SHI DA MING ZHOU, SHI WU SHANG ZHOU
the great mantra of wisdom, the supreme mantra,
是無 等 等 咒；能 除 一 切 苦，
SHI WU DENG DENG ZHOU, NENG CHU YI QIE KU
the unequalled mantra, which is able to remove all sufferings.
真實 不 虛，
ZHEN SHI BU XU
It is real and not false.
故說 般 若 波 羅 蜜 多 咒，
GU SHUO BO RE BO LUO MI DUO ZHOU
Therefore recite the mantra of Prajnaparamita,
即說 咒 曰：揭 諦，揭 諦，波 羅 揭 諦，
JI SHOU ZHOU YUE, JIE DI, JIE DI, BO LUO JIE DI,
saying thus: Gate, Gate, Paragate,
波羅 僧 揭 諦，菩 提 薩 婆 訶。
BO LUO SENG JIE DI, PU T I SA PO HE
Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha
摩訶 般 若 波 羅 蜜 多

金剛薩埵百字明咒
The Hundred Syllable Mantra of Vajrasattva
唵 筏折囉 薩埵哇 三摩耶
Om vajra sattva samaya
Oh Vajrasattva, keep your pledge,
摩努趴拉耶
Manupalaya
protect me along the path
筏折囉 薩埵哇 埵諾趴底瑟奼
Vajra sattva tvenopatistha
Vajrasattva reside in me,
捏哩濁 昧 婆哇
Drdho me bhava
Make me firm,
蘇都使幼 昧 婆哇
Sutosyo me bhava
make me satisfied,
蘇布使幼 昧 婆哇
Suposyo me bhava
Fulfill me,
阿努囉訖都 昧 婆哇
Anurakto me bhava
have love for me to leads me to your state,
薩哇 悉地 昧 鉢囉也查
Sarva siddhim me prayaccha
Grant me all siddhis.
薩哇 卡摩素 渣 昧
Sarva karmasu ca me
Also make my mind
質多 室哩耶 窟盧 吽
Citta criyah kuru hum
Virtuous in all actions Hum
呵 呵 呵 呵 斛 跋嘎梵
Ha ha ha ha hoh bhagavam
Ha ha ha ha hoh World honored One,
薩哇 怛他嘎達 筏折囉 摩 昧 悶渣
Sarva tathagata vajra ma me mumca
All the Blessed Tathagatas, do not abandon me,
筏折唎 婆哇 摩訶 三摩耶 薩埵哇 阿
Vajri bhava maha samaya sattva ah
make me indivisible, Great Pledge Being.
懺悔發願
Repentance and making vows
往 昔 所 造 諸 惡 業
WANG XI SUO ZHAO ZHU E YE
All the evil deeds that I have committed in the past
皆 由 無 始 貪 瞋 癡
JIE YOU WU SHI TAN CHEN CHI
were generated from beginningless greed, anger, or ignorance.
從 身 語 意 之 所 生
CONG SHEN YU YI ZHI SUO SHENG
They arose through my body, speech and mind.
一 切 我 今 皆 懺 悔
YI QIE WO JIN JIE CHAN HUI
Today, I confess all my transgressions before the Buddha.
眾 生 無 邊 誓 願 度
ZHONG SHENG WU BIEN SHI YUAN DU
Sentient beings are numberless. I vow to deliver them all.
煩 惱 無 盡 誓 願 斷
FAN NAO WU JIN SHI YUAN DUAN
The defilements are inexhaustible. I vow to eradicate them all.
法 門 無 量 誓 願 學
FA MEN WU LIAN SHI YUAN XUE
The teachings are infinite. I vow to cultivate them all.
佛 道 無 上 誓 願 成
FO DAO WU SHANG SHI YUAN CHENG
The path to Buddhahood is unsurpassed. I vow to accomplish it.
南無 普 賢 王 菩 薩 摩 訶 薩

三皈依
Taking Refuge in the Triple Gem
自歸依佛 當願眾生 體解大道 發無上心
ZI GUI YI FO, TANG YUAN ZHONG SHENG, TI JIE DA DAO, FA WU SHANG XIN
I take refuge in Buddha, wishing that all sentient beings, understand the highest doctrine and make the greatest vow!
自歸依法。當願眾生。深入經藏。智慧如海。
ZI GUI YI FA, TANG YUAN ZHONG SHENG, SHEN RU JING ZHANG, ZHI HUI RU HAI!
I take refuge in Dharma, wishing that all sentient beings, study deeply the Sutra Pitaka and acquire an ocean of wisdom!
自歸依僧。當願眾生。統理大眾。一切無礙。
ZI GUI YI SENG, TANG YUAN ZHONG SHENG, TUNG LI DA ZHONG, YI CHIEH WU AI!
I take refuge in Sangha, wishing that all sentient beings, to lead the congregation in harmony without any obstruction!
和南聖眾
HO NAN SHENG ZHONG
Reverence to all Noble Ones.
迴向偈
Transference of Merit
願消三障諸煩惱
YUAN XIAO SAN CHANG ZHU FAN NAO
May the three hindrances and all afflictions be eradicated.
願得智慧真明了
YUAN DE ZHI HUI ZHEN MING LIAO
May I gain wisdom and true understanding.
普願罪障悉消除
PU YUAN ZUI CHANG XI XIAO CHU
May all obstructions from all my offenses be eliminated.
世世常行菩薩道
SHI SHI CHANG XING PU SA DAO
May I always cultivate the Path of Bodhisattva, life after life.
